How to Care for your Silk Lingerie

So you've just bought some beautiful silk lingerie, and you're wondering how to keep it looking and feeling great for years to come. Well we have a couple of basic tips to help you out:

• Always hand wash your items if possible. If you really must use a washing machine, make sure it has a delicate cycle.
• Use a mild liquid detergent, and make sure it does not contain bleach. Bleach will weaken the natural fibres of the silk and change its colour.
• Never put silk items in a tumble dryer - they are too hot and the rotation can damage delicate items.
• Always let items dry naturally - though you should avoid direct sunlight as this can cause colours to fade.
• Always read the label for instructions specific to your garment.
